A Worthwhile Friend

by smile   May 24, 2006

A missed beat, You run,
Smiling so wide.

Open arms catch me
As i tumble off the line.

Amazing eyes,
Hair so fine.

Loving the time you called me,
Missing the time you were mine.

I lost it all,
Not just the laughs,

But all you came with,
My perfect companion at long last.

Why can't we be friends,
Why can't we talk.

Think about it,
It really would make all the worth?

Me and my one true love, were so inseperable, when we were dating, proper at each others side 24/7, we really really were each others best mate. i can't stress how much of nearly 3yrs we spent together. so when we broke up, we stayed mates...untill the truth came out, i'm a cheat! now we dont talk or anything. It really does breck my heart, even though i've been with other guys (dated 1 for 6mths) i'd still wish we were mates. nat that we could ever be more than that.
