I Pray

by angelwolf   May 24, 2006

I pray to god as I was taught
I was taught to turn to him in all things
To lie my troubles at his feet
He will make each weary traveler whole
So here I am
Trying for the hundredth time
Turning to that invisible force
Putting everything I have to cry out for help
From the one merciful provider
I beg and plead again and again for him to make me whole
I am weary
I am lost
I wish to be free
I have no other hope
I know no other way to be at peace
All the thought in the world could not find another way
I fear all my tears were shed in vain
How much farther must I fall before help comes?

sorry it is so short. it seems unfinished but i can't think of anything else.
