Love is guilty

by 100Percent_inlove   May 24, 2006

You have sealed my lips with your blindness.
I no longer wish to speak.
After two long years of caring for you,
I'm left alone-breathless and weak.

I'm left like a puppy dog in the rain,
A crying baby thrown away.
Tell me-did you ever love me?
Do you know what it is to be betrayed?

I am numb to the pain of life,
And love is guilty.
Your heart is still a mystery to me,
A rose with thorns that are deadly.

When was the last time we spoke?
A week ago? Two? Three?
I'm not afraid to love you anymore,
It's your heart and soul I'm afraid to see.
