Dear America

by `~Raw~`Max   May 25, 2006

Dear America,

Your shores are long and golden,
Your gardens full of green,
But can you look across the foam,
To see the danger that can be seen?

The battles you are fighting,
Across the paths that were paved
But can you cast your murder aside,
And turn to what must be saved?

Although my time is short,
My generation is not,
Will I be broke and bent,
When he takes a shot.

Your news is filled with war,
So many have been "\notched/"
Think about your anthem,
O/'er your ramparts you watched?

The land of the free,
And the home of the brave,
Bombs bursting in air,
Is all that you crave.

Deprive us of freedom,
Deprive us of our speech,
I petition your mainstream,
No end is in reach.

I will not fight for you,
For all of it should cease,
The only thing I/'ll fight for,
Is to see a time of peace.

Sincerely,
Afflicted Next Generation Child
