Over the mountains
And the trees
Above the spray
Of the sea
My heart will linger

You cast me away
With no sorrow
And from that day
There was no tomorrow
My heart will linger

Give me back
The time that has gone
And what I lack
Return anon
My heart will linger

I miss you so much
I must confess
But life lost it’s clutch
God bless
My heart will linger
