Happiness is Lost

by Leah   May 26, 2006

The cobwebs invade the little town
the town that was once
filled with cheers
and now, here we sit
without privileges
focusing in, only on our fears.

Where is my lost bethlaham
to challenge little north star
my masked heart runs away again
but it never runs that far.

Where did all the smiles go?
Where are the children's laughter
where is all the agony
that follows death near after.

Where are all the tears of joy?
happiness is lost in a tiny town
who will wipe away the tears
that never leave the ground.
