Proof We Cannot Win

My fingers cite the difference
My heart becomes aware
My mind it loses all control
For I imagine you not there

It shows me many faces
Still I have not got a clue
My doubt increases drastically
I'm dying over you

This here was not my conflict
I recall flaws so long ago
They ate from all the light did bore
Have mercy God, They didn't know

I bleed this steady river
The cold air reaches my skin
This forsaken world of sorrowed tears
Is proof we cannot win
