Enough

Day in day out,
You scream I shout,
\"I want you to die...\"
You stammer and cry,
We hug and make up and all is \'forgotten\',
We watch the T.V. \"what's on?\" \"nothing new\"
The apple in the fruit bowl is mouldy and rotten,
The milk in the fridge is turning sour, almost blue.

Enough\'s enough,
How did things get so rough?,
I stare in your eyes, you in mine,
The flame is long gone, doused by the wine,
We would sit and sip and talk and joke ,
Those pictures seem so distant and cold,
I can't remember the last time we spoke,
Without fighting, oh how it gets old.

Now all we do is get drunk and mad,
You're sounding like your Mum and I like my Dad,
Time seems so cruel seven years come and gone,
"Till death do us part" what a con!
