I Smile For You

by Raychil   May 26, 2006

Silent tears are falling
They drip from your face
You hear the blade is calling,
To the scars you can't erase

Inside your head is spinning
It's fighting away the thought
But your depression is winning
Making your mind distraught

Inside you have been broken
Your heart is empty and alone
From all the things you left unspoken
From the things you couldn't condone

When I look in your eyes
This is what I see
The smiling boy now cries
This isn't how its supposed to be

Your problems are slowly piling
There's nothing more I can do
So I just keep myself smiling
Hoping it makes you smile too.

*dedicated to a friend...

Awww, Raych!! This is soo sweet! I understand what this feels like. I have this friend and he is so self consious and he just hates himself but he loves me. And we went out before and things didn't work out. Now, we're just friends. And I always smile for him!
Sorry for rambling here, lol. It's the first time I was able to talk about it. I hope you don't mind...? Great job!

I absolutely loved it. This poem was so... so... brillant. I read it slowly, capturing every sentence structure and beauty of each line. It was great! 5/5, Keep it up!
