For eternity, I thank you

by Julienne   May 27, 2006

If you could live what I live
A life of scorn and hate every day
Would you see what I see
Or would you feel it your way

I often am lost and alone
Stuck up on a ledge
On a rocky mountain top
Clinging to the edge

I shift my way to safety
But it's always just a little far
Treading carefully and shuffling
Do you know how nasty people are

In a dark back corner,
back against the wall
They push and they laugh
They stand and watch me fall

But you were there to catch me
And for eternity i thank you
As far as friends come
None come quite as far as you....
