Sometimes

by Nicole   May 27, 2006

Sometimes I want to explode
Like a volcano releasing the pressure of a thousand years
With the emotion of an extravagant ballet and a good book

Sometimes I wish I could tell you everything
Like a little girl tells her mom
With the courage of a tiger and the insight of a grandmother

Sometimes I want to cry
Like a wolf does to the moon
With the openness of a cloud during a torrential down pour

Sometimes I want to scream
Like a women yelling at her unfaithful husband
With the strength of a heavy weight champion and deliverance of an amazing speech

Sometimes I want to hold you close
Like a child squeezing a stuffed animal for the first time
With the love of the world and the happiness of life

Sometimes I want, I wish, I dream
Like a teenager trying to figure out the world
With the imagination of a story teller and the determination of marathon runner
