Whats this thing that everyone wants even if it can cause pain
whats this thing that makes us cry more then what we contain
why does it tease us and laugh in our face when lifes already hard
why does it kiss us and hold us tight and then hurt us leaving a scar
It causes revenge and jealousy to the point were we will kill
It give us children and so much peace and hope of goodwill
its a spirit that you need to let out of your chest let it fly like a bird
free and beautiful its whisper is silent to all never to speak a word
what is love? grattitude what is hidden in our chest? compassion
