Lets Go Back

Lets go back,
To when we didn't know what love was.
When friends stuck by our side,
And were always there for us.

When we liked going to school,
And we liked doing things.
When we didn't know,
What depression was.

When we had no worries,
And didn't care what people thought.
When we knew people cared about us,
And were always there to talk to.

When we had fun everyday,
No matter what we did.
When we thought best friends,
Meant forever till the end.

When parents were proud of us,
For every little thing we did.
When promises were kept,
And we thought dreams came true.

Those times were so easy,
I miss them so much.
Why did everything have to change?
Now nothing is the same.

Everyday just gets harder,
And I feel like I'm falling apart,
Nothing I do seems right,
I feel like I've messed up my life.

If only I could go back,
And change what I have done.
People I cared about,
I would hold on to them.

I would let everyone know,
What they mean to me,
And let them know,
I will never forget about them.

No matter what they did,
They changed my life,
Meant so much to me,
And will never be forgotten.
