Hatred

by Lisa   May 28, 2006

It fights it's chains
longing to escape
through a soul piercing word,
an act of violence.

I fight to subdue to,
to keep it locked away.
a place in my heart
reserved for the passion,
a place in my mind
reserved for destruction

it like disease,
spreading rapidly through it's host.
the ears close to reason,
the fist closed to strike.

I try to break those chains
which bind me to my passion,
but the red, it stains my hands, my heart, my soul.

A vampire, it drains me of my essence, my life,

A life consuming beast, a life consuming power, with tentacles of steel that wrap around your heart.
