Behind these eyes...

*This is a poem that my friend natalie wrote, i thought it deserved to be put on here for other people to see how great it is...*

So much pain,
so many tears.
Behind these eyes
is just fear.

Haunted by the past,
by the guilt,
and the never ending rain.
Deep within, so much pain.

Where did that smile go?
It just faded away!
Did you forget how?
Or did it just leave today?

Broken dreams,
broken promises.
I'm sorry i can't be perfect,
but it all just fell to pieces.

So much hurt.
Don't say i didn't try.
But, there is so much pain
behind these eyes.
