No One Noticed

by Kristina   May 28, 2006

She was giving up slowly,
But no one noticed,
They didn't take the time,
To listen to what she had to say.

Everyone just ignored her,
Pushed her out of the way,
Told her to leave them alone,
And just go away.

It was like she wasn't real,
Like no one could see her,
Maybe she was dead?
Only dead on the inside...

One night she couldn't,
Take no more pain,
She took the razor blade,
And cut her skin.

She cut so deep,
That it wouldn't stop bleeding,
She laid there on the floor,
Till death reached her.

This poem expresses well the fact that acceptance is the key. You also hit your target of darkness,,in other words it is a dark poem and that is what you wre aiming for

Sad story. I'm sure a lot of people can relate to this one. Good ending too. Even though I don't believe suicide is the right answer. (but i do write about it, to show how stupid it is)
