More Than Love

Sitting here with questions in my head
So lost in thought the world seems dead
The ice inside me seemed to melt away
You filled me with the warmth and light of day
So many regrets - gripped within my hand
They rot away and fall to the ground as sand

Looking down for so long, I raise my head to meet your eyes
A smile appears on my face and I suddenly feel alive
So many miles between us, so closely linked at heart
An emotion so strong within me, it's as if we'd never been apart
You make everything seem alright, depression melts away
I listen to, love, and cherish everything you say
I hope I do as much for you as you do for me
I hope you know my love for you is deeper than the sea

No matter how many words I say, It just isn't enough
Putting such an emotion in words - it simply isn't enough
So I guess someday I'll have to show you just exactly how I feel
I'll find some way someday to show you the emotion is real
