I had a dream about you last night,
Told you everything I ever wanted to say,
Let the words go and opened up my heart,
But you broke my dreams and walked away.
I had a dream about us last night,
I finally told you what I've always felt,
You looked at me like I was an alien
So head in hands on my knees I knelt.
I woke up this morning crying already,
I got out my razor and made it deep,
I went to school and walked around aimlessly,
Hoping you'd stay longer and see me weep.
You see this is my daily ritual,
I dream and hope I'll finally tell you,
That everyday I spend hoping you see,
My feelings for you are nothing new.
So I'll write another corny love poem,
In the hope that you'll accidentally see it,
You'll realize you feel the same way,
And you'll want to hold me as together we sit.
But I never gave you these poems,
Nor left them for you to find,
However I hope that one day you'll know,
Everything you do is implanted on my mind.
