My dream came true

Isn't it funny how God gives true love to the ones
who don't really deserve it?, like me, I was blessed
with you, why? Every night I use to dream of being
in love, feeling love, and seeing love in front of me,
now, when I look into your eyes, I see my dreams
in ever blink.

I use to pray at night, that if I was good enough,
just maybe, I'd be able to fall in love like the people
on television. I was blessed with much better love,
because their's is scripted and right on time when it
happens. I fell in love with one of my best friends, and
God gave me that, it wasn't scripted or planned out by
someone other than him.

You were the only one who made me laugh from the
heart, and not laughing to be nice. When you talk to
me, I feel the corners of my mouth start to rise up,
you're the only one who forms my smiles. When I hear
your voice, you give me hope, determination, and strength.

My mom always told me, don't settle for the best, settle
for the greatest, well my mom tries to shelter me from the
best, and tried to move me from the greatest. Love comes
to everyone some point in time, God gave me love early, but
no one can tell me who I love or if I'm old enough to feel
it. Love is where you would do anything in the world just to see
that person smile, to hear the joy in their voices, putting them
in front of your problems, and dying for them.

You tell your parents you love them, if you can feel that much
love for you parents, why can't we feel it for someone else?
The love I have for you baby, no one can move me from it, hide,
or shelter me from it, or cover my eyes so I won't see it. No
matter where I go or who I'm with, my heart is always in me,
and you're my heart. I've realized that love is putting the other
person in front of your plans, your future, your problems, and your
fears. That's why I left my problems, my fears and the future
my mom wanted me to have. I love you that much to where I
didn't even have to think about it one little bit before I concurred
it. So, just because one person is steadily trying to hide me and
move me from the love that I have, doesn't mean that they
are strong enough to do it. I have God on my team, who do they
have?

I knew from the first month of us being together, that you
were going to be the one I shared my problems, my fears, and
my future with, and until that day comes, until we say I do,
you are always going to be my dream came true.
