She walks to the park
its almost silent
and totally dark
is this time well spent?

she pulls out a light
sucks in
no one in sight
she scratches her shin

she takes off her shoe
theres a hole in her sock
today really blew
throws a rock

she looks to the city
thinking of him
she sings a little diddy
her whole life is a sin

f**k! she shouts
she runs to her home
only to let the tears pour out
her soul is not her own

why does she feel like this
everything is perfect even his kiss

so why did she inhale her own heart
and put it out on her shoe
is the the very start
or is she through

she types this out
because she cant shout
the kids are in bed
and what words can be said?
