I never believed it
until you were mine
we spent long days holding each other close
as the waves of love splashed upon the coast
our hearts raced as our lips met
our souls melted as the love was set
then like the morning dew you were gone
out of my arms but still on my mind
my heart felt broke, and so very lost
and it was then i realized that love is blind, it runs from the good until it is time
