Sometimes life seems empty
and not quit complete
sometimes we want to give up
and fall beneath our feet,

when tears seem forever
and the nights never end
we would rather let go
then give our hearts a chance to mend.

but we've got to look on the brighter side
open our hearts
and return from our hide

open our mouths and express how we feel
we cant keep quiet and give the thief a chance to steal

and soon we will see that things aren't as bad as they seem
there is good in the life that seemed so bad.
