Had Enough

I told him it was over,
He didnt understand,
I said id had enough,
I didnt have this planned

I said i still wanted,
To be his close friend,
He said he didnt no,
It would all depend

If i made him a promise,
That I wouldnt date,
Anyone unless it was him,
He truly thought we were fate

I told him no way,
Thats not something i could keep,
He started to cry,
And in the saddness seeped

As i stood there
Watching him cry,
I gave him a hug
And said good-bye
