Her Parents Call

by MissAlotta   May 29, 2006

She keeps having this nightmare
Of falling into her parents grave
Scratching at the casket, begging
Hastily carving her name's engrave

Dripping tiny drops of blood below
"Mommy, Daddy please I'm trying."
"I gave you blood, need my tears?"
"I'll die for you, please stop crying."

Her parents whispers kept building
"Please honey, we are so alone."
She's been in depression for years
To hear at night her parents groan

They were never rested properly
For then they would leave her alone
Every night she thinks its a dream
Same as reality, chilling to the bone

Although she never really knew
She wasn't safe in her warm bed
Repeating to wake up in the night
Listening to her dead parents dread
