Help.

by k i k i   May 30, 2006

Help has now arrived,
Yet once again.
Are you going to use it?
Or whisk away your sanity?

More tough times,
I can't understand this.
It was there,
The hand was waiting.

You wouldn't accept it,
The problem that you had.
It's worse then what it was,
And you know why.

Killing away your insides,
Your mind is rapidly declining.
I don't know the real you,
Do you know yourself?

Toxins mixed with your confusion,
You don't know what's happening.
The worlds that you draw,
Make me mystified even more.

Everything is supposed to be,
Alright now, but is it?
More changes, more each day,
Who is this person?

The face that pretends to smile,
It's fake, it's all a joke.
The eyes that flood tears,
They're not there; it's an illusion.

Cuts and marks you left,
Were they for attention?
The confusion and taking,
Of what I thought was a harmless substance.

Pills swallowed, one after another,
How many times have you been under?
My two hands can't keep track,
It's just too much for me.

How can they help you?
You don't want it.
Have you told them?
The whole story?

The strength that's left in me,
I don't know if it will last.
I'm going under because of this,
I can't handle the pressure.

I hate that I care so much,
When you don't want me to.
I offered to help once,
But I got knocked back.

You can't blame me,
But somehow I blame myself for this.
