One Life To Live

Time continues to move forward,
Whether I want it to or not.
I only have one lifetime,
So I'm going to give it all I've got.

There's no seeing the future,
There's no turning back time.
I have so much more to learn.
So much to discover and to find.

I make many mistakes
I do plenty of things wrong.
But not one thing do I regret,
I learn from my faults and move on.

I don't have a bad life,
I've just had a not so good past.
But I made it through all the hardships,
I made my happiness last.

Life has a lot to offer,
If only I follow my dreams.
'Failure is success if we learn from it',
I've finally realized what it means.

I'm never going to give up,
In myself I'll always believe.
I'll remember the good times over the bad,
And make my life the best it can be.
