Cruel but Kind

I know I have a purpose
But it I must find
In this world
Cruel yet kind

Happiness is only
A smile away
But with out you
This way I’ll stay

Once I find my purpose
It is by duty to last the night
Stay alive on this earth
Until the darkness takes the light

Immortality doesn’t mean death
It’s a journey we will take
When our lives do end
It’s the path that we will make

Living this life is our duty
To the purpose we will find
Making our way through this world
Sometimes cruel, sometimes kind
