Foolish

Foolish lies are being told
so we seem normal
and no one will know

we lie to ourselves
we lie to our hearts

foolish lies are kept inside
bottled up way down deep
bottled up so they cant see
everything they've done to me

but god knows
and he sees everything
they do to me

my lies aren't lies in his eyes
simply things that are kept inside
kept inside so they don't see
that really they are hurting me
