Anywhere to be found

When I opened my eyes, you were no longer by my side, where did you go, there was nothing to show.

I thought I was doing everything right, you told me you loved me just the other night.

You told me we'd be together forever, but where are you now, how could I have lost you, how?

You showed me so much in life in just a short period of time, I thought for a while I actually had someone to call "mine".

My mom told me, It'll be alright, but mom, you wouldn't know, because I am longer in your sight.

I guess all I can do is hope you'll come back to me soon, but for now, you're just no where to be found.
