A tragic heart,
A tragic soul,
He was the one,
I thought,
That made me whole.

We started off as friends,
And great friends we were,
When he told me he wanted to be more,
I thought he was sure.

Now 4 months have passed,
And an ache settles in my heart,
When he said he wanted to break up,
he thought he was being oh so smart.

My heart is breaking,
Aching,
I'm suffocating,
I am broken.

I watch helplessly,
As my love for him goes up in smoke,
That is until he whispers,
"HA, i was kidding, It was all a joke..."
