Blood red

by Jayme   May 30, 2006

Open entry, wounds not yet closed
Blood running on the floor staining the carpet

Lifting my arm, you drink silently
Blood slowly running down the sides of your mouth

As my heart slows you stop and watch as the wound heals
I drift off to sleep and dream dreams that are....

In the evening I wake to you watching me
Your eyes content and

As I look down and see the feast that awaits me
Laying in it's own pool, staining its body

Blood Red
