Crimson Tears, the Last Goodbye

by Danielle   May 30, 2006

She walks to school
With her notebook in hand
Her only friend lives within its pages
The only one who understand her pain.

She sits in the corner by herself
Surrounded by so many people
And yet so alone in her own world
She writes of friends who accept and love her.

She fills the pages of her dear friend
With poems, stories of how she wished her life was
One day she wrote in her own blood,
"Why must I live like this?"

No one understands everyone laughs
No one cares about the pain inside
The world is cruel and hateful
Kicking her when she fell down.

She cries silently to herself
Tired of the pain, the hurt, the humiliation
She lets it all out in the form of crimson tears
Slowly, she beings to write.

"No one understood me, no one even liked me
No one took the chance of accepting me
Instead you laughed at me, you ridiculed me
And now this is my last goodbye.
The pain is washing over me
The room is spinning, everything is growing dark
My time has come, I soon shall leave
Goodbye, this is my final reply.

Her parents found her lying there
A smile on her face, surrounded by blood
A notebook soaked in blood clutched in her hand
Her only friend, now holds her last goodbye.
