Feelings I neglect to show
emotions you have yet to know
I search for a simple way to confide
in all that I intend to hide
hoping for you to find
all in which I wish to say
I keep it sealed, held inside
I sit silently, day after day,
you turn, catch a glimpse of my eyes, I turn away,
unsure of anything,
i know how you feel,
but is it real,
I know what I see,
all of you and me,
all that we could be,
we let it go, we gave it up,
surpassed our feelings,
like widows on a train
like teardrops in the rain,
we fall apart, scatter,
and all we can do is hold on,
and continue on our paths called life...
