Starving Pain

My stomach is empty
My bones are exposed
My mouth is dried
My eyes are hosed

Starvation for vengence
I'm hungry for attention
The hunger pangs in my stomach
Are a welcomed distraction

My pain is evident
In my food strike
My flesh will waste away
I do this in spite

I'm so angry at what happened
I'm so sad of the loss
I'm fed up with hurting so much
My hair will no longer gloss

I strave myself in anger
I starve myself in sorrow
I starve myself so you can see
I starve myself, the bread crumbs you should follow

I'm hungry all day
I'm empty all night
Soon I'll be dead for a fact
I will be following the light

My bones are now exposed
My skin is stretched taunt
I now see all my ribs
All these bones that I can flaunt

This anorexia is my friend
It is there to the end
I know that it will starve me dead
This coffin is on lend

Lay my empty bones in sadness
Lay them in a place so deep
I will finally eat
When I am in deaths sleep

    I can relate to this poem so much. I love it. Just know you are not alone. I too have been struggling with Anorexia. I'll keep you in my prayers. :)

    Wow i can relate to this one so much. i have an eating disorder and trying not to. but its hard cuz i dont like wut i look like so i basicaly starve myself.. if i dont i will exercize rite after so i lose the weight i jus gained.. its a painful thing.. but i kno exactly how u feel.. ne wyas this is such a great poem. it shows so much emotion and evyerhitng. keep on writing
