I hate it when you drink
because we both know you shouldn't
it makes you do things
that you normally wouldn't
Being underage
you can only get so much
just enough
for one person to get drunk
You'd come to my house
with your stolen liquor
you wanted me to join you
each time you'd get drunk much quicker
I'm against drinking
and all that it entails
I tried so hard to stop you
but each time I failed
I tried getting you caught
or just throwing it away
but no matter what i tried
you always found a way
You gave up on me
and stopped coming over
you'd get drunk on your own
and were hardly ever sober
This was even worse
no one was there to stop you
thats when I realized
there was only one thing to do
I'd drink just enough of it
so you couldn't get wasted
it's not something I'm proud of
I hated the way it tasted
I did it to save you
because I used to care
but it messed up my life
and that just isn't fair
Drinking is your mistake
I'll no longer take your fall
you don't realize your wrong
you don't deserve my help at all
So have another drink
and then continue on your way
I stopped trying to help long ago
because someday you will pay
