Tension of Emotions

by k i k i   May 31, 2006

Emotions fake and a total replica,
Of who she used to be.
Happy smiles and laughs,
How am I supposed to know?

Mixed feelings, up and down,
Strings pulling the tension tight.
Record of what's happened,
I can still remember.

How can it be better?
It's made a huge impact.
Friends, family and everyone else,
Who seem to ignore.

I donâ??t blame them from staring,
You're an interesting creature.
One, who I can't decode,
See the real person.

Stripped you of your skin,
I tried to look inside.
It all seemed muddled,
The impact shows from the out.

Eyes weary and you're ill,
Aches and pains, now you pay.
It was going to be a trial,
Once off, but look now.

A new addiction, a toy,
That you never got bored with.
Then you try another one,
Having worse consequences.

Tension between us,
I just rupture.
I don't know what to say,
Or what to feel.

You started to go under,
And it scared me.
I thought I was going to lose you,
All faith I had in myself.
