Why do the ones we love hurt us the most?
Why do we let them get so close?
You know the feeling so well by now,
Why your still here no one knows how.
People will tell you that you dont need him,
But without him your life seems so dim,
He's the one that brightens your day,
the one that makes you laugh, the one you want to stay,
Yet how can such a great guy,
Make you want to die?
Its that one simple girl,
Who sometimes makes you wanna hurl!
The thing is that he can't make up his mind,
And this choice has taken way too much time,
Cause all you're doing is getting treated like dirt,
and trust me i know how bad that can hurt,
But when she's not around and it's just him and you,
He is the sweetest guy you ever knew,
And this hurts even more cause you dont wanna let him go,
Yet the next day he's putting on a show,
Just to impress a girl whose to dumb to realise,
That she's the one that is his prize.
But you still believe he's the one for you
And when you say you love him he says: "I love you too,"
So you believe it for another day,
While he gives you another lay,
But as time goes on you begin to see,
"He loves her differently than he loves me"
You won't let him go not for the world,
Even if your life has been completely swirled.
You said you loved him and its a promise you'll keep,
Even if it gets you kicked in the teeth.
It's something you want, its something you need,
