The truth of me

by Laurennn   May 31, 2006

Mom and dad had me pretty young
My mom was the age of eighteen
But things got out of hand pretty quickly
As i came into the scene

My life is going the same scared way
Out of control and in fear for my life
Every time i look into the eyes of my baby
I know that i will make a good wife

My boy has stuck with me through the ups and the downs
And i know we will be together forever
In a month we will go and lock our vows
As he proposed i knew this was clever

As days go on i love him more and more
And we watch our son learn new things
And as days go on and our love grows
I know that my life represents my ring

Big, expensive, and subtle
It fits my hand just right
Live, laugh, learn
That's what i do in the stars of the night
