Friend Of Mine

**Kind of crappy, but i will edit it later. Please vote and comment and give me some advice on how i can make it better! :) **

Someone asked me today
What it feels like to be alone
When your eyes are pierced with anger
And your heart is shattered into pieces.
My friend, in her own curious wonder
Looked up at me, eyes a crystal vision to her soul
She was a book, open and read.
But me, I am a mystery.
I am a person, that even though oddly predictable at times,
You have to work to unveil the secrets I hold within.
There is more to me than just a shattered heart
behind the captivity of love
eyes burning with anger
a soul escaped.
I am a sea captain, lost in the middle of a storm,
Trapped at sea for eternity.
I am a bird, wings ripped off
I will never soar to a better world.
I am an ant, magnifying glass under the sun
Burning my every limb with pain.
I am a tear,
Forever lost in the ocean tides.
And I am a rose on top the mantel piece
Wilting with every second passed.
There are so many parts to my soul, dear friend of mine,
That even I can not tell.
I have spent many years trying to find myself
And I will spend many more.
The ratted pages of my soul contain a message
And I will bookmark the time passed,
Forget everything that I have done in the past,
Move on with my life.
You, on the other hand,
Are so easily read, that people often second guess themselves,
We are like two peas in a pod, you and I
And together, we can prove them all wrong.
