If I Could Have A Wish

If I could have a wish,
it would be for world peace.
Yet, now I know by sitting here
all the fighting will never cease.

If I could have a wish,
all the pain would go away.
Yet, as I cry here,
I will live with it everyday.

If I could have a wish,
it would be to find someone.
Yet, all my searching has led me nowhere,
everyone I know is gone.

If I could have a wish,
it would be to love a girl.
And yes, I have found one,
she is my whole world.

If I could have a wish,
We will live happily together.
And so it shall be,
we will live happily forever.
