Logic Or Love?

My mind and heart
battle against each other
they simply can't decide
logic or love?
which is the overriding power

forgetting him is easier said than done
my heart simply won't allow me
I can't go on missing him
it just wears me down

loving him is simply not an option
he gave up on me
leaving my in solitude
so I am giving up on him
