Think back

Think back before school
playing house and doctor
fingerpaints and doubledutch
when the worse thing that could happen
is falling and skinning you knee

think back to elementry
trying to be the best in p.e.
swinging or sports at recess
where boys and girls
really were just friends

think back on jr high
trying to grow up so fast
admiring highschoolers
finding life long friends wbo help
determine where you stand

now your in highschool
and find it isn\'t that great
with embarresing moments
along with undending stress
and backstabbing friends

so now im left questioning
why do people say
its the best time of your life
when im counting down the days
untill i finally graduate
