We said we'd always be friends,
Inseparable.
No matter what happened,
We'd be there for each other.

I don't know what happened.
Maybe,
You were distracted by your
Boyfriend.

Maybe, you decided to change,
But I didn't.
Maybe, you found friends
I wasn't very fond with.

Well, no matter what happened,
Something still happened,
And we're slowly
Drifting apart.

I remember before,
We would laugh,
Goof around,
And just have a fun time together.

We used to tell each other
Everything!
So now I'm wondering,
What happened to all those good times?

They couldn't have just disappeared,
Could they?
Well, you obviously forgot about them.
You don't even seem to care anymore.

You know what?
I think you're too wrapped up,
In your boyfriend
And your own life to notice how hurt I am.

Now that you're slowly
Letting memories of me fade away,
Will I have to do the same
With you?

I don't understand why it has to end like this.
You ignoring me
Almost completely,
And I'm hanging on to the edge of this broken friendship.
