A glance in a mirror is all that she needs
For her sorrow to be washed away as she bleeds
She glances at the mirror and she likes what she sees
A subtle air of confidence and then she breathes
But when the dark hides her face in the night
And when the mirror can't help her find the light
She masks herself and walks with the crowd
With her agony in silence screaming out loud
So she whispers her sentiments in the roots of the trees
She cries along with the dancing leaves
She looks at the birds soaring high in the sky
Wishing hard that she too can fly
But no one hears her woe but herself
No one looks at her to help
One cold night she just fled
With her feet dragging all that was left
For she longs to see the radiant face
