Your Best Friend

by Dan Bloom   Jun 1, 2006

I think you should know
Something about your best friend
I'm falling into a world
A place with no end

You aren't the light
You aren't my love to be
Its her that I want
No longer you and me

You don't want me anymore
And you have a good reason
My penalties death
I'm guilty of treason

But trust me
I chose the higher law
And unfortunately for you
There isn't a flaw

Now you need to know
Once more, we will never be
She's beautiful and loving
More then you'll ever mean to me

She says that she loves me
ill admit it now, I love her too
I'm not afraid to say it to you
We are starting together completely new

Remember this forever and more
You and I are nothing now
but if you want to know what true love's like
Then me and her, we'll show you how

Beautiful in a way but some lines ran a bit awkward such as:
And ill admit it now, I love her too
[Maybe take out the andand maybe the now]
And if you want to know what TRUE loves like
[Maybe: If you want to know true love]
Then me and her, we'll show you how
[Maybe: Me and her will show you how]
