The fire

by kelsey   Jun 1, 2006

The fire you spread, it burns out the cries
my children in ashes
my life mist through the trees
how can i be free?
i cry and i plea
the angry whispers
the wind through the trees
you killed the things i loved
black tears hit the earth
a blade slashes in the dark
i join my children in the dirt
the fire burnt through my life
erasing me, from the pages of history
unforgiving, the flames are to you
your laugh echoing in my mind
your sneer like a scar etched into my eyes
your my killer
my lover and the bloody blade on my knees
your the one holding the smoking gun
the flesh of our children burning
but I'm the one with the blade
which wrist should be hurting?
this life we lived together
was never meant to be
i should have seen that
but was blinded by the love
supposedly meant for me
but love, was hate
abuse spilling over the edge
getting caught in the overflow
the glass empties
disgust growing
your a disease, spreading hate, no more love no tender care
a diseased fire burning everything it touches
my children in ashes
my blood down the drain
good-bye you bastard
I'll see you in hell
