The Rain

Its raining, the sun wont shine
My tears, I still cannot hide
My bloody eyes, crying out
My slow depleting pride

I walked over in the pouring rain
My red tears, apparently not there
Grabbing me passionately, we kiss
Your hands running through my hair

This was our last poison
As I continued on through the rain
That rain - so soothing against the hurt
But for the hurt, there was you to blame

I choked on sky's tears
I walked around soaked right through
And every person, and every corner
Just reminded me of you

I made my way home slowly
Greeted by nothing out of the norm
My tears, screaming uncontrollably
And in my heart was out storm

I sat outside in that pure rain
Hoping innocence would be cast over my next sin
If I can't have you, why try to live?
Without you, I'll never win

Poisoned by a hate filled kiss
I took one last look at my life
I said goodbye, and kissed your picture
And I gave in to my knife
