Love not once more

by Lenny   Jun 2, 2006

Love not once more,
Nor sleeves to happy heart,
Care reaps sabotage,
And the knife enters, stab, stab,
Twisting, distorting, pain is to feel.

And love not once more,
No slave to petty heart,
Hands reach through,
Pull away the hurt, grasp, take,
Longing, loathing, emptiness turns black.

And love not once more,
Not one other heart shall have,
Nothing left to break,
No pump to last, no life, no life,
Nonentity, nothing, glory in absentia.
