I Know A Girl

I know a girl,
She's dear to me.
Though her life has been tough,
Hardly anyone can see.

I know a girl,
Her smile's always bright.
She laughs during the day,
Saving her tears till night.

I know a girl,
Loved by all.
She seems to fly through life,
As privately she falls.

I know a girl,
Perhaps you know her too.
She could be in this very room,
But you haven't got a clue.

    Wow... I really loved this one. Very strong and really says something. Somtimes reminds me of me (though I'm sure it reminds everyone of themselves sometimes) but yeah, a great write here as well. Good job.

    [I thought you could say "As she secretly falls." instead. I dunno. It's up to you.]

    I thought it was a good poem though. I liked the repitition you had going on. Thought it suited the poem alot. Nothing else I would change. Keep it up! 5/5

    What a great poem! It has so much feeling and i can totally relate! I like the way you started each stanza with 'I know a girl'...really effective!
