My Ordinary Day

by Poetical Princess   Jun 2, 2006

As I wake from my sleep
and count my blessings,
a school day begins
and continue with its lessons.

As I sit in my chair
while trying to fix my hair,
I think of my problems
with the presence of a snare...
and all at once
think of how much this isn't fair.

My stomach fills with knots,
my mind fills with thoughts,
my eyes turns to dots,
at this moment feelings are shot.

I contemplate 'til I'm okay,
of when and what day,
my mouth can speak and say,
of how and which way,
my heart is ready to shine its ray,
of where and who I'll reveal,
if I'm able, I just may..
